MOTA FILM VILLAGES
Cinema & Touristic Villages
The Concept of a Film and Tourist Village
The idea behind the MFV project is the result of nine years of work, reflection, and research. The goal is to build innovative real estate infrastructures: unique venues beneficial to any country wishing to develop its film and tourism industry by addressing needs in three distinct areas.
Film Industry Services
Tourism and Event Development
Societal and Economic Impact Mission
The project is therefore designed to be replicable and adaptable, in the form of franchises, with a first site currently under development in the renowned and beautiful city of Marrakech, at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains, on a 457-hectare plot.

The ‘One-stop-shop’
Each village offers an innovative environment that enables achieving the ‘golden triangle’ of film production: high quality, speed of execution, and increased profitability.
The objective is to provide, within a single real estate infrastructure, all the resources necessary for the production of an audiovisual work—whether a blockbuster, an independent film, or even a streaming release. This ‘à la carte’ approach offers flexibility that helps reduce logistical, organizational, and human resource costs.
Infrastructure: Designed to meet all production needs, every corner of the village can be used as a filming backdrop.
Technology: All the latest production technologies are available on-site. The most innovative solutions are developed and provided through MFV’s numerous technology partners.
Qualified Personnel: All the key skills of the film industry are brought together on-site, with carefully selected professionals whose expertise is ensured through the MFV Film Institute, in partnership with the Cambridge Worldwide Academy.
Tourism, CulturE & Event
The tourism mission is driven by a premium resort offering, featuring hotels villas and apartments all located within the village.
This dual-purpose resort aims to provide themed accommodations centered around “The World of Cinema” for tourists from around the globe, while simultaneously housing professionals and crew members from the Film Production Hub.
The resort delivers an exceptional hospitality and wellness experience, including a fitness center, fine dining, a museum, and more. Visitors enjoy access to a 10,000 m² wellness center (spa) and a 20,000 m² sports complex tailored for high-level athletes attending fitness training camps.
The event division manages the organization of trade shows, fairs, and exhibitions using the available infrastructure—such as modular studios (10,000 m²), a 6,000-seat arena, and a 10,000-seat amphitheater—as well as the production of concerts, shows, and film screenings.

Key Societal, Environmental, and Economic Priorities
Great importance is given to societal, environmental, and economic challenges. Each village upholds fundamental and universal values through initiatives in education, training, healthcare, and environmental stewardship.
All supporting infrastructures are designed to benefit the surrounding region and remain accessible to local residents. Various measures help raise the standard of living and promote local employment. To that end, each village includes at least a medical center, a sports center, a higher education institute, a museum, and an orphanage.
MFVs also aim for food and energy self-sufficiency through the implementation of organic farms and solar panels, all in accordance with environmental standards and certified sustainability practices.

A next-generation service ecosystem

The forward-thinking nature of our concept also lies in the technologies we provide: a full range of next-generation (3.0) security products on-site, offering the highest standards in the protection of cinematic data. This includes an intellectual property vault, encrypted data protection with access rights management, data anonymization, and a shared work platform with strong participant authentication — all designed for our professional clients.
Private guests also benefit from these innovations through secure access to hotel services via a dedicated app (room access, spa entry, in-hotel payments through our solution, secure emails, anonymization, etc.).

Le mot du fondateur

We aim to transform the way cinema is made and experienced through state-of-the-art, groundbreaking infrastructure and equipment, moving toward an exemplary model of self-sufficiency.
A model of excellence in hospitality, well-being, and artistic, cultural, or sporting events that benefits both the film industry and local communities.
